{"id":1077,"date":"2022-11-14T10:24:23","date_gmt":"2022-11-14T09:24:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cocat-experiencies.c.wetopi.com\/enough-formalities-lets-get-on-with-it-give-lab-seminar-in-belgium\/"},"modified":"2022-11-14T10:24:23","modified_gmt":"2022-11-14T09:24:23","slug":"enough-formalities-lets-get-on-with-it-give-lab-seminar-in-belgium","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/experiencies.cocat.org\/es\/enough-formalities-lets-get-on-with-it-give-lab-seminar-in-belgium\/","title":{"rendered":"Enough formalities, let\u2019s get on with it :\u00a0 Give-LAB Seminar in Belgium.\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In the frame of the GIVE-Lab project supported by the Erasmus+ programme, 24 participants from 8 European countries gathered from 25-27 October 2022 in Liege, Belgium to discuss gender-based violence, to exchange views with specialists, and to share experiences using non-formal education tools.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>An interdisciplinary seminar against gender-based violence!<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\ud83d\udcda On the first day, Marine Pansu, a gender specialist, run an interactive lecture workshop on gender stereotypes, rape culture, and privileges.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">During the workshop participants learnt how to develop a comprehensive policy against Sexual and Gender-Based Violence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\ud83c\udfad On the second day; using the techniques of<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Theatre of the Oppressed, <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">presented by Claudia Signoretti,<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">participants experienced the emotions and problems of women and Queer people in dailylife situations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Afternoon about activism, Laetitia Vignaud of CRIBLE, a feminist and Queer Belgian NGO, introduced and discussed to participants the vocabulary within the LGBTIQ+ community and its spectrum.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\ud83d\udc9c On the last day; Feyza Ak\u0131nerdem, a gendered violence expert, shared the current situation of women in Turkey and the mechanisms of domination used against girls and women.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This seminar explored the project&#8217;s topic with speakers from different sectors: non formal education, social sciences, art, and activists from <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">different organisations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>See you in France in 2023!<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">More than ever, we, GIVE-Lab partners and participants have renewed our drive to fight for a just and free-of-gender violence\u00a0 <\/span><b><i>International Voluntary<\/i><\/b> <b><i>Service<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> movement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Based on the exchanges of knowledge and practices, we are happy to announce that we will once again reunite in a 5-day international laboratory in France to create an educational tool kit based on the outcomes of this seminar in February 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the frame of the GIVE-Lab project supported by the Erasmus+ programme, 24 participants from 8 European countries gathered from 25-27 October 2022 in Liege, Belgium to discuss gender-based violence, to exchange views with specialists, and to share experiences using non-formal education tools.
